Kasteel de Haar, Olanda, sulla rotta delle fiabe
Sabato 16 ottobre il pubblico ha potuto viaggiare su una rotta affatto speciale: il parco del Castello di Haar è stato attraversato da carrozze ad esso appartenenti in occasione della presentazione del restauro di quattro vetture di cui abbiamo parlato a lungo nel post del 10 febbraio di quest'anno.
Chiunque conosca la storia della ricchissima famiglia di Zuylen van Nijevelt van de Haar sa che il barone Etienne e la baronessa Hélène avevano una passione per le carrozze e le automobili. Le carrozze originali sono state completamente restaurate negli ultimi anni e ora raccontano di nuovo la storia del passato. Le "calèche, victoria-duc, char-à-banc e napoleon phaeton" sono state conservate per i posteri dopo un attento restauro ordinato dal museo.
Mario Broekhuis, direttore del restauro, è apparso molto soddisfatto. il lavoro si è concluso nei tempi previsti come da informazioni comunicate al pubblico ogni mese.

Kasteel de Haar, Holland, on the fairy tales route
On Saturday 16 October the public was able to travel on a very special route: the park of Haar Castle was crossed by carriages belonging to it on the occasion of the presentation of the restoration of four carriages that we talked about at length in the February 10 post of this 'year.
Anyone who knows the history of the very wealthy family of Zuylen van Nijevelt van de Haar knows that Baron Etienne and Baroness Hélène had a passion for carriages and cars. The original carriages have been fully restored in recent years and now tell the story of the past again. The "calèche, victoria-duc, char-à-banc and napoleon phaeton" have been preserved for posterity after a careful restoration ordered by the museum.
Mario Broekhuis, director of the restoration, appeared very satisfied, the work was completed on schedule as per information communicated to the public every month.
